More ghost gear recovered from the Coroni River wreck in Falmouth Bay

Following a report last weekend of ghost gear on the Coroni River wreck in Falmouth bay, a team of volunteers took advantage of a weather window and early afternoon tide to go and recover it. With the wind blowing force 4 Westerly, sporadic showers and stormy weather forecast for the coming weekend, it was not quite the Caribbean but the divers were greeted with 5 metres of underwater visibility and Jules the skipper was treated to a nice rainbow and spared a drenching by the rain. No pots of gold were found but half a dumpy bag of ghost gear including net, rope, monofilament and even a tyre were cleared off of the popular dive site
